Over a lifetime of travel, we have always travelled the world collecting antiques, jewellery and collectables our favourite destination was always France where we contemplated living.
Having stayed with families in medieval castles and apartments we most the enjoyed the homemade French fare and hospitality. From the Vennoise breakfast to the Gastronomy of five to seven courses beginning with lunch and ending well into the night, there was no comparison.
Now our favourite memories have come to pass as we have opened cafe to taste the best seasonal French fare prepared by our French chef.
At Cafe Lautrec we offer an incredible selection of French gourmet foods supplicated refined yet hearty selection of pies such free-range beef bourguignon. Pastry pie flavours of France – a favourite chicken tarragon or fresh trout and dill are complimented by pastries baguettes. Try our baguettes, croissants or just a Madeline and coffee.
All located in our adjoining antique gallery called CAFE LAUTREC PADDINGTON. where every Saturday a live auction is held.
